Lifting Up Your Business

This past weekend my wife Dawn went to the grocery store as she does every week. However now that the kids are getting older they want to help put away the food. My thoughts are that they really want to get see what mom bought for the week and sneak a cookie or two or three well you get the picture.

In the mix of groceries there was a huge box of potatoes at least ten pounds. Our four year old walks up to the bag and picked it up like it was nothing. Dawn and I were shocked because you would have thought that he picked up a rag doll. My wife and I wanted him to set it down so that he would be safe and avoid hurting himself. This had to be heavy. Or was it?

Lesson here – The bag was heavy but no one told him that he would have a hard time lifting it. His mindset was that he could do anything and nothing would get in his way. A big lesson from a four year old. Imagine taking this courage and making it a part of your business.
