This past week I attended The Growth Coach National Conference. It was a sight for sure. The country's best coaches all gathering together in one place for a single event. During the meeting we exchanged best practices as well as had an opportunity for creating bonds and programs designed to ultimately our clients.
Like most such events there is an awards segment. The first award was presented by Laurie - A coach and part of the operations team of The Growth Coach. She began by descibing the recepient for The Coach of The Year - New Market. As she spoke, more and more coaches were looking at me. I began to feel uncomfortable as I still did not believe that it could be me. There are so many other coaches. Then she read my name. For the first time, I was speechless and greatly humbled by the whole experience. It was so emotional as I knewn that it was not just me standing up there receiving the award it was countless others. Since I was speechless, I want to take a quick moment and thank some key people.
Thank you Dawn for your love and support. Without your vision, I would not be who I am today.
